9/11 Praying God’s protection on our nation

As we observe the 9/11 anniversary and pray for all the deceased victims and their families, we continue to pray for our nation to return back to the heart of God and hold on to Him.
This past Wednesday, we came on our knees fasting and praying for our nation heeding 2 Chronicles 7:14. Art Ally from The Timothy Plan, arranged the prayer network through teleconferencing: There were representations from the following states:
AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, ND, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA,WV.
We were interceding for God’s forgiveness and mercy, blessing and protection, seeking a revival of hearts of all to come back to the Lord. We invite you to join in unison, one hour a week together, pleading His mercies on our nation: 800 -846-7526.

Fasting and Prayer Group Guidelines
• If possible, fast the three meals immediately before weekly group prayer session
o i.e. if your group meets Tuesdays from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, you should fast lunch and dinner on Monday and breakfast on Tuesday (at a minimum)
• Make sure you are physically able to do a one-day fast per week
• Preferable fast = strictly water but lots of it
• Block out your group prayer hour to eliminate interruptions
• Keep your prayers concise, on-point and avoid infringing on others’ prayer time
• For group intimacy, mention your first name, city and state when you pray
• Come to our prayer time with clean hands and a pure heart – no un-confessed sin
• For homogeneous group comfort, please refrain from praying in tongues
• Pray with a II Chronicles 7:14 and Nehemiah 1:4 spirit
• Quiet periods between some prayers are OK – actually, just listening can be good
• And, please, only one person at a time praying
• A word of caution: This effort reflects obedience, not some formula to try to manipulate God into sending revival. He is Sovereign and that is strictly up to Him.
• Thanks and may God richly bless your faithfulness!
