In the short time I have known Bishop Seeland, he has been a wonderful strength and support as a friend and brother bishop. He will surely be missed by us all that have known and loved him. Bishop Seeland, an ardent defender of the faith once delivered unto the saints has gone to his eternal reward. As the great Apostle Paul said: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing.
Rest eternal grant unto Bishop Seeland O Lord and let Thine Light perpetual shine upon him. May his and the souls of all the faithful departed through the great mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
