9/11 Praying God's protection on our nation
As we observe the 9/11 anniversary and pray for all the deceased victims and their families, we continue to pray for our nation to return back to the heart of God and hold on to Him.
This past Wednesday, we came on our knees fasting and praying for our nation heeding 2 Chronicles 7:14. Art Ally from The Timothy Plan, arranged the prayer network through teleconferencing: There were representations from the following states:
AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, ND, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA,WV.
We were interceding for God's forgiveness and mercy, blessing and protection, seeking a revival of hearts of all to come back to the Lord. We invite you to join in unison, one hour a week together, pleading His mercies on our nation: 800 -846-7526.
Prayer Schedule Options (Pick One):
Monday’s 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Tuesday’s 7:30 – 8:30 AM
Wednesday’s 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Thursday’s 8:00 – 9:00 PM
Fasting and Prayer Group Guidelines
• If possible, fast the three meals immediately before weekly group prayer session
o i.e. if your group meets Tuesdays from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, you should fast lunch and dinner on Monday and breakfast on Tuesday (at a minimum)
• Make sure you are physically able to do a one-day fast per week
• Preferable fast = strictly water but lots of it
• Block out your group prayer hour to eliminate interruptions
• Keep your prayers concise, on-point and avoid infringing on others’ prayer time
• For group intimacy, mention your first name, city and state when you pray
• Come to our prayer time with clean hands and a pure heart – no un-confessed sin
• For homogeneous group comfort, please refrain from praying in tongues
• Pray with a II Chronicles 7:14 and Nehemiah 1:4 spirit
• Quiet periods between some prayers are OK – actually, just listening can be good
• And, please, only one person at a time praying
• A word of caution: This effort reflects obedience, not some formula to try to manipulate God into sending revival. He is Sovereign and that is strictly up to Him.

Pray for America
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14
As our Nation is undergoing difficult times with recession, joblessness, moral bankruptcy..., let us turn to God in fasting and prayer and seek His face and strength. What best way can show our concern for our nation than to seek the Lord's face, declaring our dependence on Him while seeking His mercy.
4And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
5And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:
6Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.
7We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.
8Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
9But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
10Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
11O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer. (Nehemiah1:4ff)

May we be One Nation under God, conscious of our Declaration of Independence, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." and Declaring our Dependence on Him, for without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5).
